Blogtoberfest 12 Day 1

 

Blogtoberfest is an annual festival where participants challenge themselves to write a blog post every day in October. This year it is being hosted by Kat at I Saw You Dancing.  Anyone can join in, at any time.  Details here   

I'm not sure if I will be able to have the discipline to make time each day to do this, or even to be able to think of 31 things to post about but I am remembering and encouraging myself with the famous quote from Chinese philosopher, Laozi, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step".  Also, this quote from Goethe inspires: 

"Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace and power in it."

And so I am beginning and I'll take it one day at a time and just see how it goes.  Afterall, I've joined up because it sounds fun and I'm really looking forward to each day's creative prompt, as well as to seeing what others do with it.
